The English version of the play, The Golden Chain, received its first rehearsed reading by Actors & Writers London in September 2009, directed by Brendan Gregory and featuring Phil Gerrard as Arturo, Eugenia Caruso as Isabella, Nadia Ostacchini as Columbina and Gaetano Sciortino as Fabio.
