Tricolore Theatre Company offers magical celebrations of the lives and work of the great Italian poets Giacomo Leopardi. and Dante Alighieri. The shows feature readings of poems and dialogues, both in Italian and in English translation, by professional actors, with brief introductions placing each work in context. The actors are accompanied by an ensemble of musicians playing pieces commissioned especially for the production and composed by a graduate of London’s renowned Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
